Thanks for the date code info. It's strange but my experience is opposite to yours. The tobacco in the newer pouches I've gotten has been drier, lighter colored, and a bit harsher than the old style (zippered) pouches. I've been waiting for american spirit coupons for over two months. I guess I'll have to call and ask about them
