Acid cigars have become known as some of, if not the best, of all infused cigars on the market. While some of the 'die hard' cigar smokers will talk negatively on the Acid line, I have to admit - like most of us - it was one of the first cigars I ever tried. Cigars that are infused with different flavors seem to be the perfect transition point for the non-cigar smoker to pick up a cigar and not be overwhelemed with the "first cigar" syndrom. Utilizing 140 different herbs and botanicals, Acid Cigars created a mild cigar that has gained recognition and awards one right after the other. Lets see what I think about the Acid 1400cc!
Even with the extra fermentation steps involoved in the infused process, these cigars take the delicate Connecticut wraper and seem to stretch it across the cigar beyond what should be possible. Evenly packed from head to foot, this mild cigar's cap clipped without hesitation and lit with just a little touch or two from a flame. The band removed easily and as I said before, although the Connecticut shade wrapers are known for their britile nature, I could not be happier with how durable this cigar feels.
Infused cigars have one thing going for them over other non-infused cigars - When you start smoking one, you know exactly what you are going to get all the way to the end. Creamy, light, semi-rich and full of floral goodness, the 1400cc remains consistent and balanced from start to finish.
Being known for infused cigars is one thing - being known for some of the best infused cigars on the market is another. Drew Estates and the entire Acid portfolio has built up quite the following, for reasons exactly like the 1400cc. Excellently priced with a very consistent and expected delivery - the Acid 1400cc is a cigar unlike most and one that you will not forget. If you enjoy mild to medium smokes, floral or botanical cigars or are looking for a light and easy to smoke cigar to open your eyes to the premium handrolled cigar world - I cannot recommend the 1400cc enough!
