What do you think of when you think about Tampa? Sunny beaches? Swamps, nature and good life? Or maybe, filtered cigars? Today we are reviewing (Have-a-Tampa)Tampa filtered cigars. Now the name says Tampa, but they are actually made in Jacksonville.
Now, I ordered my Tampa Filtered Cigars from www.buydiscountcigars.com, and they came to my doorstep in about a week, now that is what I call prompt service! Opening the package, I notice the packs are very standard looking, and remind me of Swisher Sweets. (Later, I would discover that is not all they have in common.)
When opening a pack I first notice the aroma. The tobacco smells quite pleasant and mild, and I find myself rather eager to start smoking. First, I examine the individual little cigars. They are quite uniform, well made and packed, and their appearance makes me rather optimistic about smoking them. I like the gold rings on the filter as well, it is a nice touch that gives them a classier look.
Lighting my Tampa Filtered Cigar was quite simple and quick, and it held a flame well throughout. Nothing is worse than a discount filtered cigar that requires constant relighting, and I am pleased to see that is not the case here whatsoever. The smoke is mild, the tip pleasantly sweet, and it again reminds me of Swisher Sweets. However, I will say, that I find the tobacco blend in the Tampa Filtered Cigars to be more mild and I prefer it quite a bit over the sometimes slightly harsh Swisher Sweets.
