Hello all, Smokin' Joe Jones here. I write the reviews for >www.buydiscountcigars.com, and it is my job to help you make great choices when you buy discount cigars online. I've been a solid smoker for quite some time (cigarettes and filtered cigars) and I know a good smoke when I smoke it. Hope you find my little cigar reviews helpful, and hey, smoke'em if you got'em!
Today I will be reviewing Chisum Filtered Cigars. Now, you might ask what is a Chisum? Well, I am glad you asked. If it conjures up memories of cowboys and John Wayne, you got the idea. It was a flick in 1970, and just thinkin' about that makes me want to smoke! Whether you go for the full flavors (my favorite), lights or the menthol, they all come in a simple yet stoic (remind me of John Wayne too!) brown pack with a horse's head on the front. They look rustic, rugged and ready to be smoked on the prairie.
Once you open the pack of these >filtered cigars, and give them a whiff, you notice they have a nice woody and leather nose to them. They smell like a man ought'a smell! They seem well-made, and the tobacco smells like premium to me. When you light one up, they have an easy draw (not wrapped to tight) but they don't burn too fast either, so pleased so far. The full flavor Chisums are full of taste and that warm smoke you would expect. The filters seem to be of good quality too, because the smoke is not harsh and did not make me cough at all. The pack does not contain much loose tobacco, which is a sign of being well-made, and makes sure you don't lose any of your smoke.
The Chisum filtered cigars are additive free, natural, and do not have that chemical paper stuff they put on cigarettes. They are wrapped in 100% natural fine tobacco leaf, and I have to say, I like it that way! So whether you are a cowboy or a prairie dog, I'd say give'em a try!
