Bella filtered cigars are a newer product from the people at Sunshine Tobacco. They are also the makers of Wrangler Filtered Cigars and the Vaquero line of filtered cigars as well. The Bella brand, with its beautiful pack and lighter flavors, is targeted towards the growing segment of women smoking filtered cigars.
As soon as you receive your fresh Bella filtered cigars, you will notice the packaging right away. With beautiful artwork in pastel colors, it is visually pleasing and distinctly feminine. (Never thought it felt right as a woman to be carrying around a pack of little cigars with Native Americans, buffaloes or axes!) The flowers and gentle script of Bella just feels right! And with lettering in pink, light blue or green, it really does look more like a European brand of cigarettes than a US made, low-cost filtered cigar pack.
Smoking the Bella filtered cigars is very similar to the experience you get from the packaging. They are lighter in flavor (they even offer ultra lights!), seem smoother and less harsh, and have instantly become my favorite. There is something more mellow about the flavor of these little cigars, and the menthol is crisp but more faint than many other brands I have tried. The tobacco is undoubtedly premium, and even the filter seems to be of a higher quality than many other little cigar brands.
As far as cost, the Bella filtered cigars are hard to beat! For such a high quality and visually appealing product I expected to pay much more, and was very pleased to see they are so affordable. I think if you are a woman switching from cigarettes to save money (as I did some months ago), Bella little cigars would be a great choice, for menthol and light/ultra light smokers alike.
