Cherokee Pipe Tobacco is an all-natural native USA grown pipe tobacco product. It consists of a blend of Green River and Black Cavendish tobacco, and is a relatively newer brand. The price is fantastically low, so my expectations going into this were quite low. So would Cherokee Pipe Tobacco have quality as low as the price, or be a great value pipe tobacco? Let's find out!
As always, www.buydiscountcigars.com got my order out quickly. I love that, because I am not the sort to order months before I need or want some tobacco, I order it and I want it yesterday! Well, they are not that fast, (they do not have a time machine yet!) but they are pretty darn quick. The package was in fine condition, well-sealed, and ready to open. The packaging of the Cherokee Pipe Tobacco itself is quite simple. A large Native American head with headress adorns the front, and has a very simple and vintage look to it. It makes me think of the origins of tobacco in America.
Upon opening the Cherokee Pipe Tobacco, I noticed a somewhat strong but not terrible aroma. The tobacco is somewhat well-cut (there are some variations the length of strands, fineness, etc.), and it was pretty easy to pack. It was a little harder to light than your average tobacco, but once I got it going it did not require much effort to stay lit.
The pipe tobacco tastes and smells pretty good when burning, but it is a little bit on the stronger side. If you are fan of mild and mellow tobacco, it is probably not for you. But, if you like a bolder smoke, it is rather nice tasting for a value brand pipe tobacco that has an amazingly low price. I would recommend it as an everyday smoker for those who favor the stronger smoke.
